To start, you'll need a few items from around the house:
Mix one cup of white vinegar with two gallons of warm water in a bucket. Then, dip the sponge or cloth into solution and use it to scrape away at the insect repellent stains.
Once you have scraped away most of the stain, sprinkle baking soda over area to help lift off any remaining residue. Leave it to sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing it off with a soft-bristled brush.
Mix 1/2 cup of bleach with 5 gallons of warm water and pour the solution into a spray bottle. Then, spray the affected areas and scrub them gently with a soft-bristled brush. Be sure to wear protective gloves and clothes when handling bleach.
Once you’ve scrubbed the area, rinse it with clean water and use a towel to dry it off.
Removing insect repellent stains from a swimming pool liner is easy with the right materials. With a bit of elbow grease and some white vinegar, baking soda and bleach, you can restore your pool's original appearance and enjoy swimming in crystal-clear water.
