It's inevitable - bugs will always find their way into your home, no matter how hard you try to keep them out. That's why it's important to have a good insect repellent at hand, however, accidents may happen and you may find your slippers stained with bug spray.
Whether you have oil-based or water-based repellent, the process to remove the stain is the same. You'll need some white vinegar, dish soap, baking soda, and a few other household items to complete the job.
Mix one part white vinegar with one part dish soap in a bowl. Dip a cloth in the mixture and dab onto the stain. Be sure not to rub too aggressively as this could cause further damage. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes before moving on to next step.
Saturate a clean cloth in hot water and wring it out so it's damp. Sprinkle baking soda on the damp cloth and lightly scrub the stain. Continue to scrub until most of the stain has been removed.
Rinse the area with warm water and allow to air dry or use a hairdryer. Repeat the process if stain remains.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
