Removing Stubborn Insect Repellent Stains from Silk Nail

What You Need

• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Baking soda
• Plenty of clean towels

Removal Steps

1. Carefully blot up as much of the insect repellent as you can using a clean towel.
2. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water together in a spray bottle.
3. Spray affected area liberally with the vinegar mixture.
4. Let mixture sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.
5. Blot up the vinegar mixture with a clean towel.
6. If there is still staining present, make a thick paste of baking soda and dish soap.
7. Saturate the stained area with the paste and set aside for about 30 minutes.
8. After 30 minutes, remove the paste with a damp towel and then rinse the area with water.
9. Allow the material to air dry completely.
10. Once fabric is dry, use a clean, soft cloth to go over the area again.
