What You Will Need
- Soft cloths
- Dish soap or laundry detergent
- Small brush
- Raw vinegar
- Baking soda
Cleaning Process
- Read the garment labels for any special washing instructions.
- Mix together 1 teaspoon of dish soap or laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water in a small bowl.
- Dampen the stain with cool water, then apply the cleaning solution with a soft cloth.
- Gently scrub the stained area with a small brush.
- Rinse the fabric with cool water.
- If the stain persists, mix 1/4 cup raw white vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda in 1 cup of warm water.
- Repeat steps 3-5 until the stain is gone.
- Allow the fabric to air dry.
Tips
- Avoid using hot water, as it can cause the stain to set.
- Do not use bleach.
- For tough stains, let the cleaning solution sit for several minutes before scrubbing.
