Despite being a liquid, insect repellent can leave stubborn stains on your clothes. Thankfully, with right cleaning supplies and a bit of elbow grease, you can have your pajamas looking like new again before you know it.
What You’ll Need:
- Soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Cotton balls or an old toothbrush
Instructions:
- Start by creating a soapy cleaning solution. Use warm water and a detergent that is safe to use on the fabric of your pajamas.
- Soak a cotton ball or an old toothbrush in solution and scrub away at the stain, taking care to not scrub too hard and cause any damage to the fabric.
- If stain persists, create a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Soak a cotton ball in this solution and dab it onto the stained area of the pajamas.
- Let the vinegar solution sit for five minutes, then rinse with cold water.
- If the stain still won't come out, mix together one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of water until it forms a paste. Rub the paste onto the stained area and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- Rinse off the baking soda paste with cold water, and your pajamas should now be stain-free.
