Removing Dried Insect Repellent Stains from Nike Shoes
- Create a paste made of equal parts water and baking soda and apply it directly to the dried insect repellent. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes.
- Scrub the area using an old toothbrush. The dried insect repellent should start to come off.
- Wipe off the excess paste before proceeding to the next step.
- Mix together a small amount of mild detergent and warm water until a lather forms.
- Dampen a cloth with the mixture and scrub the remaining traces of insect repellent off of the shoe.
- Thoroughly rinse the shoe and allow it to air-dry.

You can also take preventive measures to ensure that insect repellent never stains your Nike shoes again.
