The first step in getting rid of insect repellent stains is to clean your goggles using a mild soap and water solution. Make sure to use a non-abrasive cloth in order to avoid scratching or damaging the lenses or frame of the goggles. Gently scrub away the stain with a circular motion.
Once you have cleaned the goggles with soap and water, rinse off the goggles with clear water. This will help remove any residual soap from the surface of the lenses, as well as any remaining insect repellent residue.
Finally, take a clean cloth, dip it in some isopropyl alcohol (at least 70% concentration), and wipe down the surfaces of your goggles. This will help dissolve any remaining stains and give your lenses a streak-free shine.
By following these three simple steps, you can easily remove insect repellent stains from your goggles. Always make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintenance in order to ensure optimal performance and safety.
