Removing Insect Repellent Stains from Fleece

If you have insect repellent on your fleece, don't panic! With the right cleaning technique, the stain should be gone in no time.

First, rinse the area with cold water. Rubbing alcohol can also be used, but avoid using anything too strong that could damage fabric.

Next, fill a bucket or bowl with lukewarm water, then add a small amount of laundry detergent, about a teaspoon per gallon of water. Soak the garment for about 15 minutes, then rinse the detergent away.

After rinsing, apply some white vinegar to the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. This can help to further break down the stain and make it easier to remove.

Finally, rinse the area with cold water again and then dry fleece. If the stain is still present, repeat same steps until it is removed.
