Step-by-Step Instructions
- If evening gown has recently been stained, use a clean cloth to dab the area with vinegar. Use gentle pressure, as to not spread the stain.
- Once all the excess liquid has been removed, sprinkle the stain with baking soda. This will help neutralize any remaining vinegar and soak up the stain.
- Allow the baking soda to sit on stain for 15 minutes or so, then wipe it off.
- Once the baking soda has been removed, sprinkle the area with Oxiclean or other laundry stain remover.
- Add a few drops of water to the stain, then use a cloth to gently work the cleaner into fabric. Keep working until all cleaner has been absorbed.
- Wait 10-15 minutes for the cleaner to take effect, then launder as you normally would.
