Step 1: Blot The Stain & Allow It To Dry

Using a soft, clean cloth, blot stained area to soak up any excess liquid. Do not rub or scrub the stain, as this can cause it to spread further into the fabric. Once done, leave the fabric to air dry in a well-ventilated room.

Step 2: Pre-treat With Detergent

Once the fabric is dry to the touch, treat the stained area with a pre-wash detergent. For best results, leave the product for about two minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.

Step 3: Wash In Cold Water

Now, machine wash the stained garment in cold water. Make sure to use only a mild laundry detergent, as harsh chemicals can cause the stain to set. Avoid using hot water or running the fabric through the dryer cycle before washing, as this can cause stain to set.

Step 4: Check Before Drying

Once the washing cycle is complete, inspect the fabric to make sure all the stains are gone. If not, repeat the process and add a few drops of white vinegar to the washing machine before running a second cycle.

Step 5: Air-dry The Garment

Air-drying garment is safest option as heat can set the stain even further. Hang the fabric outdoors or indoors in a room with ample ventilation. Make sure to keep away from direct sunlight or artificial heat sources.
