What You'll Need
- Rubbing alcohol
- White vinegar
- Dishwashing detergent
- Clean cloth
Step By Step Directions
- Mix 1 teaspoon of rubbing alcohol with 1 cup of cold water in a bowl.
- Dab the solution onto the stained area using a cotton ball and gently rub it around. Do not rub too hard so as not to damage fabric.
- Rinse the surface of fabric with cold water until all of the rubbing alcohol is removed.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar with 1 cup of cold water.
- Take a fresh cotton ball and dab it into the mixture. Gently rub the stained area using this mixture.
- Rinse the fabric surface with cold water again.
- If the stain persists, mix 2 tablespoons of dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of cold water.
- Soak a clean cloth in solution and use it to scrub the stained area.
- Rinse the fabric with cold water again and let it air-dry.
