What You'll Need to Remove Stain

  • White vinegar
  • Cotton cloth
  • Dish soap
  • Laundry detergent

Steps to Clean Stain

  1. Blot stain with a damp cloth soaked in white vinegar.
  2. Mix one teaspoon of dish soap in two cups of warm water. Dip a cloth into the mixture and dab onto stain.
  3. Rinse the area with cold water. Blot up any excess moisture.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 until the stain has gone.
  5. Mix a small amount of laundry detergent with cold water. Test this solution on a hidden part of the lace to check for colour changes. If there are no changes, dip a cloth into the mixture and blot onto stain.
  6. Rinse stained area with cold water and blot off excess moisture.

Tips to Remember

  • Always blot the stain, don't rub or scrub.
  • Never use hot water.
  • Always test any cleaning solution on a hidden part of the fabric first.
  • If the stain persists, consult a professional dry cleaner.
