Step 1: Soak Capris in Hot Water

Start by filling a sink or large bowl with very hot water and place capris in the water. Allow them to soak for at least 20 minutes before moving on to the next step. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 2: Apply Liquid Detergent to the Stain

Once the capris have soaked in the hot water for at least 20 minutes, take them out and gently dab liquid detergent directly onto the stained area. Rub the detergent into the fabric in a circular motion with your hand. Let the detergent sit on the stain for 10 minutes before moving on.

Step 3: Rub Alcohol onto the Stain

After the detergent has had 10 minutes to work, take a cotton swab and soak end in rubbing alcohol. Dab the swab directly onto the stained area and rub it in a circular motion. Keep rubbing until the stain begins to lighten. Once stain has been removed, rinse the capris in cool water.

Step 4: Dry the Capris

To finish off the cleaning process, lay capris flat on a towel and press down gently to absorb any excess moisture. Then, hang up the capris to dry completely. You can also use a clothes dryer set to the lowest heat setting if desired.
