How to Get Insect Repellent Stains Out of Your Briefs

Instructions
- Mix together a solution of warm water and mild laundry detergent.
- Gently apply the solution to the stained area and let sit for approximately 5 minutes.
- Use a clean cloth, microfiber towel, or a soft-bristled brush to work solution into the fabric.
- Rinse with warm water until the solution is removed.
- If the stain is still present, repeat the process until it has been removed.
- Allow the briefs to dry completely, then launder in the washing machine as usual.
Tips
- Be sure to check for any warnings on the tags of your briefs before beginning cleaning process.
- Spot test solution on an area of your briefs that isn't visible to make sure colors won't run.
- Do not place your briefs in the dryer, as this may set the stain.
- For tough stains, consider using an oxygen-based bleach.
