The first step is to rinse the item of clothing as soon as you can. This is important because it helps the stain disappear before it's able to set in. Use cold water when rinsing and make sure that you keep the area dry afterwards.

If the stain persists despite the rinse, you can use a mild detergent or soap with some white vinegar mixed in. Apply the mixture directly onto the stain and let it sit for around five minutes. Then, rinse it off with cold water and use a soft cloth to lightly dab away any remaining residue.

Another great way to get rid of insect repellent stains is to use a liquid laundry detergent. Simply pour the detergent on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. You can then wash swimsuit in your washing machine using cold water. After the cycle is complete, check the garment for any remaining spots of insect repellent and repeat the process if necessary.

Lastly, you can also use a paste made of baking soda and water. Mix together one tablespoon of baking soda and three tablespoons of water until you have a thick paste. Spread the paste over stain and let it sit for thirty minutes. Afterwards, rinse it off with cold water and repeat steps as needed.

With these easy tips, you should be able to remove those pesky insect repellent stains from your bikini with minimal effort. Good luck and happy swimming!
