Start by laying the bandana flat on a clean surface. Make sure stained area is easily accessible so that you can work on it without disturbing rest of the item.
Once the bandana is ready, it’s time to apply a stain remover. Choose a stain remover based on the type of fabric your bandana is made of. If you’re not sure, opt for a mild detergent.
Gently scrub the stained area with a soft cloth or brush. This will help to loosen the stubborn particles and make them easier to remove.
Once the stain remover has been properly applied, rinse area with warm water. Be sure to pat the area dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth or towel afterwards.
If the stain remains, repeat all the steps above until it’s gone. It may take several rounds of removal before stain disappears completely.
With these five easy steps, you can easily remove even toughest insect repellent stains from your bandana. Remember to check the label on your bandana to find out what type of cleaner is safe for use.
