• Mild detergent
• A spray bottle
• White vinegar
• Baking soda

Steps to Remove Insect Repellent Stains

1. Blot excess insect repellent off with a damp cloth.
2. Mix one tablespoon mild detergent with two cups cold water in a spray bottle. Shake to combine.
3. Spray the stained area with the detergent solution. Allow it to sit for around 15 minutes.
4. Dampen a sponge in the detergent solution and scrub the affected area gently in a circular motion. Rinse with cold water and blot dry with a paper towel.
5. Mix 1 teaspoon white vinegar with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a bowl. Stir until it forms a paste.
6. Using a sponge, spread paste on the stain. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
7. Rinse the paste with cold water and blot dry with a paper towel.
8. If necessary, repeat the process until the stain is completely gone.
