What You Need
- Damp cloth
- Mild detergent
- A spray bottle
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
Steps to Remove Insect Repellent Stains
- Blot excess insect repellent off with a damp cloth.
- Mix one tablespoon mild detergent with two cups cold water in a spray bottle. Shake to combine.
- Spray the stained area with the detergent solution. Allow it to sit for around 15 minutes.
- Dampen a sponge in the detergent solution and scrub the affected area gently in a circular motion. Rinse with cold water and blot dry with a paper towel.
- Mix 1 teaspoon white vinegar with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a bowl. Stir until it forms a paste.
- Using a sponge, spread paste on the stain. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse the paste with cold water and blot dry with a paper towel.
- If necessary, repeat the process until the stain is completely gone.
