When dealing with insect repellent stains, it's important to act quickly. The quicker you can get to the stain, the better chance you have of getting it out. Here are steps to take.

Step 1: Blot Stain

Using a clean cloth, gently blot the stain to remove as much excess repellent as possible. Continue blotting until you've absorbed as much repellent as possible.

Step 2: Pre-Treat Stain

Mix a solution of detergent and warm water and use a clean cloth or brush to apply it directly to the stain. Allow it to sit for several minutes before rinsing it out.

Step 3: Wash the Garment

Wash the garment in a regular wash cycle with a mild liquid detergent. For extra cleaning power, you can add a laundry booster like borax or oxyclean.

Step 4: Air Dry

Once you've finished washing, hang the garment to air dry. Don't put it in the dryer, as this could set the stain.

Step 5: Check for Residue

After the garment has air dried, check to see if there are any traces of insect repellent residue left. If so, repeat Steps 2-4 until the stain is completely gone.

Step 6: Enjoy your Clean Clothes

And there you have it, your favorite Aeropostale clothes are back to looking as good as new! Enjoy wearing your freshly cleaned garments with confidence.
