Step 1: Gather Necessary Supplies

To remove those pesky insect repellents stains, you will need some basic supplies. Gather a soft cloth, some rubbing alcohol, a mild detergent, and a bowl of warm water.

Step 2: Remove Excess Insect Repellent

Start by gently wiping away any excess insect repellent with a soft cloth. You can also use a paper towel if no cloth is available. Take care not to rub too harshly, as this could damage the acrylic.

Step 3: Clean Stained Area with Rubbing Alcohol and Detergent

Next, mix a solution of equal parts rubbing alcohol and mild detergent in the bowl of warm water. Dip the cloth in the solution, then wring it out. Use cloth to scrub the stained area. Finally, rinse the area clean with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
