If you've found yourself with a pesky ink stain on your watch, you're in luck! With a few household items and a bit of know-how, the stain can be removed in no time.

What You'll Need

  • Mild detergent
  • Soft cloth
  • Nail polish remover (only if there's dried ink)

Step 1: Soak the Watch in Mild Detergent

Mix a bit of mild detergent and warm water in a bowl. Place the watch in the bowl and soak for about 10 minutes. Then, with a soft cloth, gently scrub the watch to remove any ink that's still there.

Step 2: Remove Dried Ink with Nail Polish Remover

If there is any dried ink, dip a cotton swab into nail polish remover and carefully dab the stained area. Do not use too much force and do not rub the area, as this can cause the watch to become scratched. Rinse the watch once the stain is removed.

Step 3: Dry Watch with a Soft Cloth

Using a soft, lint-free cloth, pat watch dry. Make sure to get all the moisture out of the watch; otherwise there will be a risk of rusting or corrosion.

And You're Done!

That's it! Your watch should now be free from ink stains. Be sure to follow these steps carefully and never immerse a watch in water - even if it is waterproof - as this can cause damage.
