Begin by spraying the stain with hairspray. Be sure to get the hairspray directly onto the stain — don't overspray, as too much can damage the material's finish. Allow the hairspray to sit for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Mix a small amount of dish soap with lukewarm water in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth into solution and wring out any excess liquid. Then, use the damp cloth to gently scrub the stain.
Once stain appears to be lifted, rinse the cloth in lukewarm water and wipe area to remove any remaining residue. Pat the area dry with a clean cloth or let it air dry.
If the stain still remains after following steps 1-3, try using isopropyl alcohol (also known as rubbing alcohol). Pour a small amount of alcohol on a cloth and dab at the stubborn stain. Allow it to sit for a few moments before rinsing with a damp cloth and patting it dry.
With a few simple steps, you can easily remove pesky ink stains from your wallet and restore it to its like-new look!
