Getting ink on your uniform can seem impossible to get out. It's actually a lot easier than you think! Here are some easy steps to help you get rid of pesky ink stains quickly and easily.

Step 1: Pre-treat with a Stain Remover

The first step is to pre-treat the area with a quality stain remover, such as OxiClean. Wet the stain with a damp cloth and then apply the stain remover directly to the stain. Allow it to sit for two to three minutes before scrubbing gently.

Step 2: Wash Clothing in Cold Water

Once you have pre-treated area, it's time to wash the clothing. The best way to do this is to use cold water to get the best results. Wash the garment according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Step 3: Air Dry

Once the garment has been washed, it's best to allow it to air dry instead of using a clothes dryer. This will help ensure that all the remnants of ink have been removed before the garment is worn again.

Step 4: Re-wash if Necessary

If the stain has not been removed after one wash, you may need to re-wash the garment. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until the stain is fully removed.

Tips for Getting Ink Out of Uniforms

  • Always pre-treat stain with a quality stain remover.
  • Wash the garment in cold water.
  • Allow the garment to air dry.
  • Re-wash the garment if necessary.
