Lift Off Ink Stains with These Quick and Easy Steps
Accidents happen! But when ink stains are spilled on your favorite shirt or blouse, don't panic. With a few simple tools and supplies, you can easily clean off those unsightly spots.

Tools & Supplies Needed:
- Spray bottle
- Rubbing Alcohol (70%)
- Cotton swabs
- Dry cloth
- Liquid detergent
- Laundry detergent
Instructions:
- Dab the area with dry cloth to remove as much of the ink as possible.
- Mix rubbing alcohol with water (2:1) and put them in the spray bottle.
- Spray the stained area and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Use a cotton swab to gently scrub the stained area.
- Rinse the area with warm water.
- Apply liquid detergent to the area and rub with a cloth.
- Wash the area with laundry detergent and hot water, according to clothing instructions.
- Rinse out the fabric and hang to dry.
Tips:
- Be sure to use a mild detergent that won't damage fabrics.
- If the stain doesn't come off after the first attempt, repeat the procedure.
- For darker colored fabrics, use bleach instead of rubbing alcohol.
