Step 1: Blot, Don’t Rub

The first step to removing ink is to carefully blot the stain with a dry paper towel. Do not rub the stain as this will create a bigger, more permanent mark on the fabric. After you have blotted the stain, sprinkle some baking soda over the area and let it sit for a few minutes.

Step 2: Make a Paste

Create a paste that is equal parts baking soda and white vinegar. Gently rub the paste into the stained area in a circular motion. Leave the paste on the fabric for several minutes, then rinse with cool water.

Step 3: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

Soak a cotton pad or cloth in rubbing alcohol and gently dab stained area. Be careful not to rub the stain as this may cause discoloration in the fabric. Rinse the area immediately after applying the rubbing alcohol.

Step 4: Soak in Hot Water

Fill a basin with hot water and add a capful of laundry detergent. Submerge the stained clothing and allow it to soak for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse the garment in cold water and repeat the process until the stain is completely gone.

Step 5: Wash the Garment

After all the steps are completed, wash the garment in the washing machine according to the manufacturer's instructions. Hang the garment to dry and enjoy stain-free Tommy Hilfiger clothing!
