Mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol and water together and dip a clean, white cloth in the mixture. Then lightly dab the stained area with the cloth until the stain disappears.
Another way to clean ink stains from ties is with hair spray. All you need to do is spray a generous amount of hairspray onto the stained area and let it sit for about five minutes. Then use a damp cloth to wipe away the stain and voila! Your tie will look as good as new.
White vinegar is another great option for removing ink stains from ties. Start by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water and pouring the solution over stained area. Gently rub the solution into the stain and then rinse the tie with cold water. The stain should come right off.
