What You Need:
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Cotton Swabs
- Dishwashing Liquid
- Baking Soda
- A Clean Cloth
- Cold Water
Instructions:
- Take a dry cloth and blot the stain.
- Mix a small amount of dishwashing liquid with cold water and gently dab it on the stained area.
- Take a soft cloth and gently rub up and down the stained area to lift stain, then rinse the cloth with cold water.
- Bail a solution of one part rubbing alcohol and one part water, using a cotton swab.
- Dab this solution on stain until it is removed.
- Rinse with cold water and allow the fabric to air dry.
- If there is any remaining discoloration, make a paste using baking soda and water and apply it to the area. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
Additional Tips:
- Act quickly once the ink stain has been discovered.
- Do not scrub or use hot water as this can set the stain.
- Test the rubbing alcohol solution on an area of fabric that won't be visible prior to attempting to remove the stain.
