Step 1: Treat the Ink Stain Immediately

When a stain appears, it's crucial to treat it quickly. The longer the ink has to set into the fabric, the harder it will be to remove. Blot the stain with an absorbent cloth as soon as possible.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

After blotting stain, the next step is to apply rubbing alcohol. Saturate area with rubbing alcohol, then use a cloth to gently dab away ink. This method is especially useful for lighter inks.

Step 3: Wash With Soap and Water

If rubbing alcohol method doesn't fully remove the stain, try washing the swim trunks with gentle soap and warm water. Allow the swim trunks to air dry.

Step 4: Try a Stain Remover

If stain is still visible, try using a stain remover such as Folex or Spray 'n Wash. Apply the product directly to the stain, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for best results.

Step 5: Launder Swim Trunks

Once you've removed most of the ink stain, launder swim trunks according to the care instructions, using a mild detergent. Hang the swim trunks to air dry for best results.
