Ink stains are a nuisance, especially when it comes to clothing. It's worse when a pen or marker bleeds onto your favourite sundress. But do not worry, even if you have a new or an old ink stain on your sundress, you can get rid of it in no time.

Steps to remove ink stains from sundress:

  1. The first step is to identify the type of fabric that your sundress is made of. The most common fabrics used for sundresses are cotton, polyester, rayon and spandex. This will determine the cleaning method you will use on the sundress.
  2. Once you know fabric, it is time to tackle the stain. Start by soaking the area with cold water. This will help to dilute the ink, and make it easier to remove.
  3. If the ink stain is still visible, try using a pre-treated stain remover. Read the product instructions before use and apply directly onto the stain.
  4. For stubborn stains, you can use a solution of 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Mix this solution together and gently rub onto the stain. Leave the mixture on for 10 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.
  5. If the stain persists, you can try a bleach solution. Mix 1 part bleach and 4 parts water and soak the stained area for up to 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water and air dry.
  6. Finally, once stain has been removed, you can wash the sundress according to the care instructions. To maintain a brighter colour and to protect the fabric, you can use a fabric conditioner.

By following these steps you can quickly and easily remove ink stains from sundresses.
