What You’ll Need
- Cold Water
- Unscented Dish Soap
- White Vinegar
- Absorbent Paper Towel
The Steps
- Start with cold water and a small amount of unscented dish soap.
- First, blot or scrape away as much of the ink as possible.
- Apply a little dish soap to the stain and gently rub it in.
- Rinse area thoroughly with cold water.
- If there is still an ink stain, apply white vinegar directly to the fabric.
- Let the vinegar sit for about five minutes, then rinse with cold water again.
- After the stain is gone, lay the fabric flat and let air dry.
Tips for Success
- Always start with the gentlest cleaning solutions first.
- Don’t use very hot water, as this might set the stain.
- Allow plenty of time for the garment to air dry after cleaning.
