What You Will Need

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Cotton swab
  • Paper towels or a soft cloth

Steps For Cleaning Ink Stains From Shoes

  1. Start by dabbing the area with paper towels or a soft cloth. Make sure not to rub the stain as this can make it spread.
  2. Once you have removed as much as possible, soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and dab it onto ink stain.
  3. Continue dabbing the stain with the cotton swab until the stain is gone. If needed, add more rubbing alcohol.
  4. Let shoe air dry.

Additional Tips

  • If ink stain still won't come out after trying the above method, try using hairspray to remove the ink.
  • If stain is still present after using the rubbing alcohol, try using a non-gel toothpaste and an old toothbrush.
