What You Will Need
- Rubbing alcohol
- Cotton swab
- Paper towels or a soft cloth
Steps For Cleaning Ink Stains From Shoes
- Start by dabbing the area with paper towels or a soft cloth. Make sure not to rub the stain as this can make it spread.
- Once you have removed as much as possible, soak a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and dab it onto ink stain.
- Continue dabbing the stain with the cotton swab until the stain is gone. If needed, add more rubbing alcohol.
- Let shoe air dry.
Additional Tips
- If ink stain still won't come out after trying the above method, try using hairspray to remove the ink.
- If stain is still present after using the rubbing alcohol, try using a non-gel toothpaste and an old toothbrush.
