What You Will Need
- Rubbing alcohol or hairspray
- Cotton swab
- Absorbent cloth
- Dish soap
Method
- Dab the stained area with rubbing alcohol, or hairspray. Work the treatment into the fabric with a cotton swab, and let substance soak in for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the area with lukewarm water, and dab it with an absorbent cloth.
- Apply dish soap to stained area and work it in with a brush. Let soap sit for 10 minutes.
- Using a clean cloth and cold water, rinse the treated area until all soap residue is gone.
- Launder your shirt as you normally would and air dry.
Tips
- If the ink stain does not disappear after the first treatment, repeat the method until the stain has been removed.
- For greater impact, use a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. Apply the paste to the stain, and leave it on for 10-20 minutes before rinsing.
