The key to removing any stain is to act quickly. If ink stain has already dried, you’ll need to dampen the area with some water. Not too much, though. You don’t want to saturate the fabric, or else the ink might spread.
Next, take a clean cloth or rag and gently dab at the stain. Keep blotting until you’ve removed as much of the ink as possible.
Grab a bottle of rubbing alcohol from your medicine cabinet. Place your stained shirt on a flat surface, such as a countertop or table. Squirt some rubbing alcohol on the ink stain and then use a clean cloth to blot it again.
Once you’ve used the rubbing alcohol, rinse out the stain with cold water. You might have to repeat this process a few times before the stain disappears.
The last step is to wash the shirt. First, check the care label before you throw it in the machine. Some fabrics may require hand washing instead. Then, launder the shirt as usual. The ink stain should come out in wash.
If any traces of the ink stain remain after laundering, use rubbing alcohol again and repeat the steps above.
