Removing Light-Colored Ink

Light-color ink stains can be removed using nail-polish remover. Simply take a cotton bud and dip it in the remover, then gently rub the stained area of sandal until stain lifts. Be sure to carefully dab the area, as rubbing too hard can damage the sandal material.

Cleaning Permanent Marker Stains

For those harder-to-tackle stains like permanent marker, your best bet is to use a combination of soap and baking soda. Start by creating a paste out of baking soda and soap and apply it to affected area. Leave the paste on the stain for about 30 minutes, then scrub away using an old toothbrush for best results.

Tackling Tough Stains

For those pesky ink stains that just won't budge, try using a combination of vinegar and water. First, mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Next, take a clean cloth and dip it into the mixture, then dab the stained area until the stain lifts. After the stain is removed, rinse the area with cold water and let it dry in the sun.

Whatever tough mess you face, one of these solutions should help you get your sandals looking good as new!
