What You Will Need:

  • Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Soft Bristled Brush
  • Clean Cloth

Step 1: Sponge with Vinegar and Water

Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth into the solution, then lightly sponge the stain with the cloth. This will help to remove some of the ink.

Step 2: Apply Baking Soda Paste

Make a paste using baking soda and water. Make sure the paste is thick enough to stay put when applied. Gently apply the paste to the stain and allow it to sit for 30 minutes.

Step 3: Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide

Using a soft bristled brush, gently scrub the stain with hydrogen peroxide. The hydrogen peroxide helps to break up ink and lift it from the fabric. Let sit for another 30 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Conclusion

It may take a few tries to completely remove an ink stain, but taking these simple steps should help to make your pet bed cover look good as new!
