Ink stains don't necessarily look disastrous when they first occur but it can be a huge headache if not treated properly. To make sure the stubborn blotch is removed, here are 7 steps you can follow:

  1. Remove any excess ink on the fabric by dabbing it carefully with a dry paper towel or cloth.
  2. Generously apply white distilled vinegar to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Rinse the affected area with cold water and then blot it until dry.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt on area and massage it gently into the fabric.
  5. Slide a clean piece of paper or cloth under the fabric, so that the stain is sandwiched between the paper and fabric.
  6. Apply rubbing alcohol to the stained area and the salt, using a cotton swab.
  7. Blot repeatedly with a paper towel or cloth until all the stain is gone.

It might be necessary to repeat technique to get rid of the stubborn ink blotch. If the stain remains, you might want to seek professional help to avoid any damage to your clothes.
