No matter how careful you are, ink stains may still find their way onto your kid’s pajamas. Whether it’s from that pen your little one found in their pocket or a marker your toddler got a bit too excited about, ink spills can create quite a mess.

However, all is not lost. Here’s how to get rid of those pesky ink stains on pajamas:

Method 1: Soak in Water and Detergent

Using just a few household items, you can clean ink out of your kids’ pajamas with relative ease. All you need is a sink or tub full of lukewarm water, some laundry detergent, and a few tablespoons of white vinegar.

First, fill a sink or tub with lukewarm water and add a tablespoon of laundry detergent. Apply some pressure to the stained area to wash away as much of the ink stain as possible before soaking pajamas. Next, add a few tablespoons of white vinegar to the water and let pajamas soak for an hour. This will help break down the ink molecules and make them easier to remove.

Once the hour is up, rinse off the fabric thoroughly and check for any remaining ink stains. If the stain has lifted, run the pajamas through a regular wash cycle. If stain remains, move on to the next method.

Method 2: Rubbing Alcohol and Salt

If the first method didn’t do the trick, you can try a combination of rubbing alcohol and salt. You’ll also need a clean cloth for this method.

First, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to stained area and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, dab the area with cloth to remove as much of the ink as possible. Next, mix a teaspoon of salt with a few drops of rubbing alcohol and gently rub the mixture over the stain. Finally, rinse off the fabric and wash as usual.

This method should remove even the most stubborn ink stains from your kid’s pajamas.

Method 3: Dishwashing Liquid

If the above two methods fail, you can always rely on dishwashing liquid to get the job done. For this method, you’ll need a few drops of dishwashing liquid, a sponge, and some cold water.

First, apply a few drops of dishwashing liquid directly onto the stain and rub it in using a sponge. Let the soap sit on the stain for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water. Finally, wash the pajamas as usual and check for any remaining stains.

With any luck, your kid’s pajamas will be good as new thanks to these simple cleaning methods!
