Getting ink stains on your Nautica fabric can be incredibly frustrating. Whether it’s a pen that has gotten onto your furniture cover or a shirt pocket, you want to make sure the ink is taken care of as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are some simple methods for removing ink stains from Nautica fabrics.

What You Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Lemon juice
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Nail polish remover
  • Cotton Balls

Instructions:

  1. Start by dabbing the stain with a dry cloth and see if it starts to fade.
  2. If not, apply white vinegar or lemon juice directly onto the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Rinse with warm water and blot dry.
  4. If the stain persists, mix rubbing alcohol and water at a 1:3 ratio and apply to the stain.
  5. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
  6. If the stain is still present, mix hydrogen peroxide and water at a 1:3 ratio and apply to the stain.
  7. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
  8. If the stain still hasn't disappeared, use nail polish remover to get rid of stubborn spot.
  9. Dab the stain with a cotton ball and then rinse with cold water.
  10. Be sure to read the instructions on nail polish remover carefully before using.

Additional Tips:

  • Do not rub the stain because it can cause it to spread and become more difficult to remove.
  • Test any cleaning product in an inconspicuous area of the fabric before using.
  • Always remember to follow the care instructions that come with the Nautica fabric.
