Ink stains on mattresses can be a real nightmare. Unfortunately, they’re also incredibly common, especially if you have kids around. The good news is that these pesky marks can be removed, and your mattress can look as good as new.

Cleaning Ink Stains From Your Mattress

First things first, blot the area with a clean cloth to remove any excess ink. Make sure not to rub it in or spread the stain further.

Turn mattress over and check the other side of the mattress for signs of the stain. If the stain is still visible, clean the other side as well.

Mix laundry detergent with a little bit of warm water. Apply the mixture directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Now, using a clean cloth, gently scrub the area with the stain. Don’t scrub too hard to avoid damaging the fabric.

Once you are done scrubbing, rinse the area with cold water.

Now, the last thing you should do is to dry the area completely. You can use a hairdryer or a fan to speed up process.

Using Other Methods to Remove Ink Stains

If the above method isn’t working, there’s another way to try. Mix baking soda with some water, and make a paste. Apply the paste on the stain, and let it sit for an hour or two. Blot the area to remove any excess paste. Finally, wash off the paste and let the area dry completely.
