As soon as you notice an ink stain on your jeans, act quickly and start treating it. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to remove stain. Do not let stain sit for more than a few minutes before you start cleaning it.
You can use a cotton swab or a rag to apply rubbing alcohol on the stain. Start from the edges and slowly work your way towards the center. Make sure to apply the alcohol evenly. Keep in mind that rubbing alcohol can discolour or shrink certain fabrics, so test it on a small, unnoticeable part of your jeans first.
After applying rubbing alcohol, rinse the area with cold water. This will help remove some of ink from the jeans. Use a cloth to dab the area dry.
If the stain is still present, use a stain remover specifically designed for denim. Apply remover as directed and allow it to sit for a few minutes before washing the jeans.
Once stain is gone, wash the jeans in a washing machine. Use cold water and a mild detergent. Air dry the jeans afterwards.
With these simple steps, you will be able to remove ink stains from your favourite Levi's without any hassle. Keep in mind that this method is best used for fresh stains; if the stain has been sitting for a long time, you may need to take your jeans to a professional for cleaning.
