Jacquard is a type of fabric featuring an intricate design woven into the material. It is usually made from silk or wool, although it may also be made from man-made fibers such as nylon and polyester. Jacquard fabric is mainly used for upholstery and drapery, but can also be found in clothing and other items.
The first thing to consider is type of ink stain. For example, if the stain is from a ballpoint pen, it’s best to take care of it as soon as possible and without rubbing or scrubbing too hard. This will help to avoid spreading the stain further.
Steps:You can take measures to prevent future ink stains on your Jacquard fabrics. Whenever writing with a pen, it’s best to do it on a piece of paper first and then transfer notes to the fabric. If fabric gets damp, let it air dry before using it again.
Jacquard fabric should be stored away from direct sunlight to avoid fading, and placed in a dark, cool, and dry place. It should also be kept away from humid environments and stored in an acid-free container or wrap.
