Steps to Remove Ink Stains from Your Hollister Clothes
- Start by soaking the garment in cold water for 15-30 minutes. This can help stop the ink from setting further into material.
- After removing the clothes from the cold water, place them on a towel and prepare a cleaning mixture using rubbing alcohol, non-bleach soap, and white vinegar. Mix together one part rubbing alcohol, one part non-bleach soap and two parts white vinegar.
- Gently dab the stain with the cleaning mixture, avoiding any harsh scrubbing motions. This can cause the stain to spread out further, which defeats the purpose of cleaning.
- Cover the stain with a generous amount of cornstarch, then let it sit for five minutes.
- Once the cornstarch has absorbed the ink, brush off powder with a soft cloth.
- Rinse the garment in cold water to remove any leftover residue.
