One of best ways to remove ink from georgette is with hairspray. First, check the back of hairspray bottle to confirm that it contains alcohol. After doing so, spray the stain lightly until it is saturated. Allow the hairspray to sit on the stain for 15-20 minutes. Then, take a wet white cloth and blot the area, making sure to keep the cloth moving in circular motions.

Another option is to use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. Start by placing a few paper towels underneath stain and then pouring the rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover onto the towels. Blot stained area using a separate cloth and the cleaning agent. Rinse the area thoroughly with cold water afterwards.

You can also make a paste out of baking soda and water to treat ink stains on georgette. Begin by mixing one part baking soda with one part water until it forms a thick paste. Then, apply the paste directly to the stain, cover it with a damp cloth, and let the baking soda paste sit on the stain for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse the cloth and the stained area with cold water.

To ensure that your ink stain is completely removed, it is important to wash georgette garment with detergent as soon as possible. Be sure to follow any instructions on care label for best results.
