How to Clean Ink Stains from Flannel

  1. Dab stain with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol. Apply small amounts of the alcohol onto stained area, dabbing gently. Do not rub or press too hard on the fabric.
  2. Create a mix of 1-2 teaspoons of dish soap and a cup of warm water. Mix the ingredients together until suds begin to form.
  3. Dampen a soft cloth with the soapy water and dab the stain. Make sure not to scrub but to blot until the stain begins to lift.
  4. Rinse the area with cool water and repeat if necessary.
  5. Allow the items to air dry. Do not put in the dryer as heat can cause the stain to set.
