When your earplugs get ink on them, it can be difficult to know what to do. But with just a few household items, you can easily clean the stain without damaging your headphones. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Blot Fresh Ink Spots Quickly

As soon as you notice an ink stain on your earplugs, you should blot it up quickly before it has a chance to set. Take a clean cloth and press it onto the stained area. This will help absorb some of the excess ink.

Step 2: Soak Earplugs in Warm Water

Fill up a bowl with warm water and let your earplugs soak in it for 15-30 minutes. This will help to loosen the ink stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Rub Alcohol Into the Stain

After soaking the earplugs, take a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol and rub it into the stain. This will help to break down the ink and make it easier to remove.

Step 4: Rinse With Cold Water

Once the alcohol has had a chance to work, rinse your earplugs in cold water. This will help to remove any residue left behind by ink.

Step 5: Repeat if Necessary

If stain is still visible after the first attempt, simply repeat process until it is gone. You may need to use more rubbing alcohol if the ink is stubborn.

With just a few simple steps, you can easily remove ink stains from your earplugs without damaging them. Just remember to be patient and to repeat the process if necessary.
