Before starting the cleaning process, use a clean white cloth or paper towel to blot away as much of the excess ink as possible. Do not rub the stain; instead, gently pat up and down until no more ink transfers to the towel.
Once the area is mostly dry, apply some rubbing alcohol to stain. Allow it to sit for several minutes before blotting away with a clean white cloth or paper towel.
If the stain persists, create a solution of one part white vinegar and one part warm water. Using a clean white cloth, dab the stain with the mixture and then wipe dry with a clean white cloth or paper towel.
Once the stain has been eliminated, wash the dobby fabric item according to the care label instructions. For machine washing, use a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Then, hang it to dry or lay flat on a clean surface.
If stain is still visible after laundering, repeat steps two through four until the ink stain is completely removed.
