Cotton denim is a popular choice of fabric due to its durability and comfort. However, when it comes to ink stains, it can be difficult to get rid of. The good news is that there are several ways to remove ink stains from cotton denim without damaging the fabric.
Rubbing alcohol is an effective way to remove ink stains from cotton denim. To begin, blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth and then dampen the fabric with rubbing alcohol. Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub area gently in a circular motion. After scrubbing, allow the fabric to air dry and then check to see if the stain has been removed. If not, repeat the same process.
Dish soap and hot water can also help to remove ink stains from cotton denim. Start by soaking the stained area in hot water for about 30 minutes. Next, apply dish soap directly to the stain and use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the area gently in a circular motion. Once stain has been removed, rinse the fabric in cold water and then allow it to air dry completely.
Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide can also help to remove ink stains from cotton denim. To start, mix together baking soda and hydrogen peroxide until you have a thick paste. Apply the paste directly to the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes. Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub the area gently in a circular motion. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the fabric in cold water and then allow it to air dry completely.
