If you notice an ink stain on your dress, start by gently blotting stain with a clean, white cloth. Avoid rubbing the stain as this could cause the ink to spread even further.
Create a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Soak the stained area of your dress in the solution for two or three minutes before blotting the stain again with a clean cloth.
If the vinegar hasn't been enough to remove the stain, try pouring some rubbing alcohol onto the affected area. Leave it to sit for about thirty seconds before gently rubbing the stain with a clean cloth.
If any traces of the stain remain, apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent onto the stain and let it sit for ten minutes. Then launder your dress according to care instructions included.
For persistent ink stains, it is best to take your dress to a professional cleaner. A professional cleaner will have the right tools and techniques to help remove difficult stains without damaging the fabric of your dress.
