Step 1: Soak the Stain

Start by soaking your garment in water and allowing it to sit for at least 10 minutes. This will help to get rid of some of the stain so that later steps are more effective.

Step 2: Treating the Stain with Detergent

After soaking it in water, apply a small amount of laundry detergent or dishwashing detergent directly onto the stain. Make sure to massage it into the fabric so that it can penetrate into the stain. Allow it to sit for about 15 minutes before washing it in laundry machine.

Step 3: Use Vinegar

If the stain still hasn't come out after the laundry cycle, try soaking the garment in a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Allow it to soak for at least an hour before trying to wash it again in laundry machine.

Step 4: Use Rubbing Alcohol

If stain is still stubborn, try using rubbing alcohol to help get rid of it. Apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it again in the laundry machine.

Step 5: Check the Stain Before Drying

Before drying the garment, make sure to check if the stain has been completely removed. If not, repeat any of the above steps until the stain is gone.

Conclusion

Getting ink stains out of chambray can be a bit tricky, but with these easy steps, it doesn't have to be a difficult task. Just follow each step and you'll be able to get those pesky stains out of your favorite chambray clothing.
