The most important step to take when cleaning your cardigan is testing stain removal method on a small, unnoticeable part of the fabric first in order to make sure that it is suitable for your garment. Here are some of the methods that you can use to remove ink from your cardigan:
This method requires rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab. First, carefully dab the cotton swab in the rubbing alcohol and then place it on top of the stain. Apply firm pressure and allow alcohol to soak into fabric. Once it has been absorbed, use the swab to rub the spot. Keep repeating this process until the ink is completely gone.
You will need water, hair spray and a piece of cloth. Firstly, spray the hair spray onto stain and let it sit for several minutes. Then, use the cloth to start blotting the stain with water. Make sure to press gently and replace cloth with a new one when it becomes stained. Repeat this process until the ink is removed.
You will need nail polish remover and a cotton swab. Be sure to use the non-acetone option to avoid damaging fabric. Dab the swab in the remover and then place it on the stain. Press it firmly so that the remover absorbs into the fabric. Rub the swab on the fabric in circular motions until the ink is gone.
You will need white vinegar and a mild soap. Carefully mix a tablespoon of white vinegar and two tablespoons of mild soap in a bowl. Then, dip a sponge in the mixture and start blotting the stain. Rinse the sponge in cool water and repeat the process until ink is gone.
