Removing Ink Stains

  • Start by getting some cotton balls or a soft cloth and submerging them in rubbing alcohol.
  • Gently rub the cotton ball or the soft cloth in circles over ink stain until the stain starts to come out. It may take several passes to remove all of ink.
  • If the stain is still there after that, try using a stain remover specifically designed for removing ink stains from fabrics.
  • Apply a small amount of the cleaner to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes.
  • Gently rub the cleaner into stained area with a soft cloth.
  • Once the stain has been removed, use a damp cloth to remove any remaining cleaner.
  • Finally, use a clean towel to dry boot.

Additional Tips

  • Avoid using water to clean ink off your boots as this can cause the ink to spread further on the fabric.
  • When using stain remover, make sure to read the instructions carefully and follow the directions.
  • If the stain is still present after trying these methods, contact a leather cleaner for more help.
  • Always test the cleaning products you use on a small, inconspicuous spot first to make sure there is no discoloration.
